PickSafe Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 8, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between PickSafe (hereinafter "Service") and the user regarding the use of the cosmetic ingredient verification service.

2. Service Description

This is an information service that scans uploaded cosmetic ingredient labels and compares them against internationally recognized allergens and user-defined avoided ingredients.

This service is not a medical diagnosis or medical advice. The information provided is for reference only. We recommend performing a patch test or consulting a specialist before actual use.

Users can use part of the service as a guest without signing up.

3. Registration and Guest Mode

Users can register using Google, Facebook social login, or email.

When using the service as a guest, some data is stored only on the user's device and will be migrated to the server upon registration/login.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the service.

4. User Obligations

Users must not steal other users' accounts or register false information.

Users must not use the service for purposes other than its intended use (e.g., automated bulk requests, service disruption, etc.).

Users must not commercially resell, reproduce, or distribute the information provided by the service without authorization.

5. Disclaimers

The service is operated for informational purposes and does not guarantee the complete accuracy of the information provided. Due to OCR recognition failures or missing database registry entries, some ingredients may be marked as "Unverified."

Users are solely responsible for their decisions and outcomes based on the information provided by the service.

The service is provided free of charge, and we are not liable for any service interruptions caused by natural disasters or external service disruptions (OCR, login, etc.).

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software within the service belong to the service operator, and users may not use them for purposes other than personal use.

7. Changes to the Service

The service may modify or suspend its contents due to operational or technical needs. Important changes will be announced in advance within the service.

8. Changes to the Terms

In the event of changes to these Terms, they will be announced in advance. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may stop using the service by deleting your account.
